4. Budgeting and Financial Coordination Services

  • developing and providing regular up-dates to a Business Plan comprising a capital budget, cashflow projections, financial analysis, operating cost projections and such other information as may be required by funders or in order to assist the Client in the financing and development of the Project;
  • preparing capital budget cashflow projections during the development process and assisting the client to monitor cashflow;
  • assistance securing capital grant funding for the Project, including writing proposals and modifying or adapting the Business Plan to address the requirements of specific funders;
  • assistance securing mortgage financing for the Project, including preparing and submitting
  • application packages and modifying the Business Plan to address the requirements of specific financial institutions;
  • assistance managing finances during Project development, and particularly in monitoring the capital budget and expenditures, both incurred and projected;
  • assistance submitting periodic requests for advances from Project funders, as required;
  • assistance drawing down mortgage advances;
  • assistance applying for Provincial Sales Tax rebates;
  • assistance developing an operating budget for the Project;
  • assistance developing leasing arrangements with potential tenants of the Client in the Project;
  • assistance preparing a draft final cost statement; and
  • providing overall capital budget monitoring and control.
