We helped Somerset West Community Health Centre to assemble a parcel of land at Booth and Somerset Streets in Ottawa and develop a 19,000 square foot community health centre building. Architects Griffiths Rankin Cook created a dramatic new building in a modern idiom that nevertheless fit so well into its surroundings that it appeared to have been there for years! The $4.93 million project won a 1994 City of Ottawa Award for Excellence for architectural work in keeping with the historical character of the neighbourhood.
