CENTRETOWN COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE

back to projects

In 1998 and 1999, we worked with Centretown Community Health Centre to lease and fit-up nearly 27,000 square feet of space on the ground floor of 420 Cooper Street in Ottawa for a community health and social services facility. Architect Peter Kindree and designer Brenda Atkinson developed a "main street" design scheme to bring natural light from windows on the north side of the space deep into the facility, and a medical service hub which provided an extremely efficient space for care-givers to meet with and treat their clients. Fit-up costs for the project were $1.65 million.
