BOB & KAY CARLIN HOUSING CO-OP - SUDBURY

back to projects

Our very first project, and the one which introduced us to the development of non-profit projects, was the Bob and Kay Carlin Housing Co-operative which we helped to found and develop from 1982 to 1984. This 45 unit $2.9 million townhouse project was built on a rugged hillside overlooking Lily Creek in Sudbury, and was named in honour of former labour leader and MPP Bob Carlin and his wife Kay. The site where INCO pours slag can be seen in the distance!
